Frédéric Furst Native to France’s Lorraine region, Frédéric Furst lives in a small town close to the city of Baccarat, where in 1981, he began to work as a blower in the maison’s factory. In 2004, he became a Meilleur Ouvrier de France, contributing his craft to the Harcourt Grand Genre vase. Also among his projects at Baccarat: the creation of a crystal guitar. For this piece, he worked closely with the guitar designer, who came to the factory to sketch out the instrument’s lines and collaborate with the company’s artisans.
